Overview

It manages the multimedia and sponsorship rights for nearly 250 collegiate institutions, conferences and arenas, and supports athletic departments at all competitive levels as title sponsor of the prestigious Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup.

This role participates in all Corporate Accounting functions for the Learfield IMG College group and reports to the Corporate Controller.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries for month–end, quarter–end and year–end close
• Prepare account reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts
• Research variances in key account balances and explain variances between actuals and forecast to management
• Prepare intercompany elimination journal entries
• Prepare schedules that support month–end, quarter–end and year–end financial reports
• Prepare roll–forward schedules for key accounts
• Analyze large datasets and prepare accruals for various balance sheet accounts
• Assist Corporate Controller and Accounting Manager in ad hoc analysis and other projects
• Assist in identifying potential process improvements, documenting new policies and procedures and contributing to sound internal control development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Microsoft Dynamics experience highly preferred
• 3–5 years' experience, Public accounting and private industry background highly desirable.
• Advanced level of proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good organizational, problem–solving, analytical, communication, and relational skills. Also must show initiative and attention to detail and work well in a team environment.
• Strong character and values as well as a strong work ethic
• Natural disposition and desire to serve others
• Genuine interest in learning, understanding and empathizing with the needs of the organization's leadership and staff
• Demonstrated ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
