Our Team


The Investments Middle Office (IMO) partners with various groups across thePrivate Bank, including Risk Management, Front Office Investors, BusinessLeaders, Legal and Compliance.The teamcoordinates information, business requirements and infrastructure necessary toenable clients to invest in a variety of dynamically managed portfolios.

As a Business Analyst withinInvestments Middle Office, you will support our Middle Office teams byparticipating in projects and providing support for various medium to largescale initiatives. Projects will involve participants from and haveimpact on functions across multiple lines of businesses. The candidate may be involved in multipleprojects or initiatives, working across the whole project lifecycle,researching new projects, business process changes, or system modifications.Through strong partnership with Business, Operations and Technologycounterparts the candidate will work on project deliverables that are alignedwith business and technology strategies. This role will require an ability todeal with complex business challenges, tight deadlines, competing prioritiesand interaction with the management team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate withvarious areas of Operations, Product, Compliance, Technology, and SeniorManagement to understand and document business requirements, procedures andprocesses

  • Project analysis,including documenting business requirements, detailing issues and risks, anddrafting business processes and data flows

  • Data analysis,including data collection, synthesis, and translation of results into concreteactionable solutions

  • Identify gapsbetween applicable requirements and current procedures/controls and participatein driving resolution of mitigating controls

  • Work withbusiness partners to design and implement enhancements to existing processesand/or business applications, introduce new processes and/or toolsets, andengage in process re–engineering

  • With guidance, developand implement solutions that strengthen business operating models, enhance theclient experience, and improve efficiency and controls

  • Support testplanning and execution, provide regular status updates and create projectmetrics

  • Build strongpartnerships with business partners, and team members within and across IMO

  • Work with minimaldirection/independently, keeping management informed of progress and escalate issues

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 2 – 5 years business analysis experience

  • Prior experience with Agile preferred

  • Detail oriented, and strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship management skills

  • Highly motivated, results–oriented, client –focused

  • Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze and resolve project–related issues and follow through with set objectives

  • Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize issues/workload

  • Ability to come up to speed quickly on new subject matter

  • Be a team player who shows commitment and dedication, and can maintain a positive attitude and high level of performance on high profile/time–sensitive initiatives
