Compensation: $55000.00 to $65000.00 yearly

In this role, you will be handling financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates need to bring strong analytical skills to the role and should be capable of handling challenging, fast–paced work environments. Excellent compensation is just part of the package. What you get to do every day:
– Assemble monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
– Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
– Participate in various department–wide initiatives
– Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
– Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
– Delegate resources to Ad–hoc projects as necessary
– Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
– Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
– Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
– Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
– ERP system experience
– Self–starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
– BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
– Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
– Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
– Strong time management skills preferred
– Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
– Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
– Sound written and verbal communication skills
– Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills
– Deep understanding of financial analysis
– US GAAP experience desired
– Financial statement preparation experience required
– Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
– 3–5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
