My client is a Fortune 500 investment firm, located in the heart of NYC. They have been performing very well, this role is brand new due to that growth. They are looking for a great Corporate Senior Accountant to join their Financial Reporting team.
Are you a Big 4 auditor who wants an amazing, true 9 – 5pm position? This is the opportunity!

The Corporate Senior Accountant will report directly to the Corporate Accounting Manager, with direct exposure to the VP of the division.
The role will cover:
? Financial reporting
? Consolidations of about 300+ subsidiaries
? Cross functionally working with the GL and other F&A teams

Who are you?
? Started your career in public accounting foundation and is currently in the private/industry sector
? Will look at either straight public accounting or straight private/industry experience (if you are on the financial reporting team).
? CPA is a huge +
? A minimum of a BA/BS in accounting from a top accredited school.
? 3+ years of experience.

Exceptional communications skills are required. A great dynamic personality and the ability to work along your fellow colleagues is crucial. He or she must be able to effectively collaborate with individuals both inside and outside the company.

– Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

– Proficient in ERP systems

– Self–starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

– 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

– BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

– Exceptional time management skills preferred

– Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued

– Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

– Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

– Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

– Solid understanding of financial reporting

– Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

– Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
