As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will partner with the Fund Team to prepare and review reconciliations, general ledger journal entries, balance sheets, operating statements, cash flow, and other reports. Key responsibilities

– Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process

– Coordinate Ad–hoc projects as necessary

– Analyze financial information and report on financial results

– Engage in various department–wide initiatives

– Perform monthly accounting procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

– Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
– Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

– Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

– Microsoft Excel experience

– Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

– Skilled at time management

– Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued

– 1+ years of overall general accounting experience

– Self–starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

– Efficient in ERP systems

– BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

– Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

– Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills

– Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance

– Excellent communication and organizational skills
