We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper (Practice Financial Coordinator) to join our team. About our Practice:Root Canal Specialty Associates is dedicated to advancing the specialty of endodontics through teaching and staying at the forefront of technology and innovation. We approach endodontics from every angle, setting trends that create lasting results and build strong patient experiences. RCSA is committed to delivering prompt attention to referrers and patients, giving them the respect and care that they deserve. RCSA is one of the largest endodontic specialty practices in Michigan, with offices in Ann Arbor, Brighton, Livonia, and West Bloomfield. Essential Functions:Monitor Practice Accounts Receivable including Practice production and collections.Supervise Practice past due collections process, including small claims court procedures.Review and process Practice Accounts Payables, including bi–weekly payroll.Administer 401(k) plan, including contributions and reporting.Reconcile monthly bank statements and merchant service statements, including recording daily deposits.Prepare monthly reports for accountant's reviewMaintain Doctors perquisite list, and calculate quarterly bonus payments for associate DoctorsPrepare annual payroll reports for audit.Assist the managing partner in preparing and monitoring the Practice Budget.Supervise corporate expenditures, meeting budgetary goals.Develop and maintain an inventory system for dental, office and business supplies.Responsible for purchasing business and office supplies and assist Clinical Managers in dental supply purchases as necessary.Research, solicit proposals and make recommendations for the contracting of corporate service providers.Assist managing partner in major company purchases. What you need to be qualified for this job:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of two years experience in small business administration or management.Strong computer skills which include Microsoft Office Suite, and QuickBooks ProExcellent organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills.Superior verbal and written skillsDemonstrated success in setting priorities, proceeding with objectives, resolving problems and working on multiple projects independently.Knowledge of budgeting, basic accounting principles, and experience in electronic requisitions and purchasing. Work ScheduleMonday – Thursday (32 hours per week – full time) in our Livonia office.
