Super Products is looking to hire a Cost Accountant at our new Mukwonago facility. This position is currently located in New Berlin until February 2020. Under the direction of the Assistant Controller, you will actively participate in the month–end close process, pull reports and schedules, review Accounts Payable documents and expense reports, prepare inventory and posting journal entries, and reconcile accounts. Essential Functions of the Job Participate in month–end close process, pulling reports and schedules, preparing selected inventory and posting journal entries, and account reconciliations Assist in the review of monthly manufacturing and parts department financial statement records to ensure accuracy of information Provide technical assistance and advice to company personnel to ensure smooth and efficient day–to–day operations in questions regarding accounts and budgets Work with the Assistant Controller –– Manufacturing in review of daily cost variance and transactional analysis Assist with audit preparation, budget preparation, improvements to accounting system and questions from affiliates Maintain and match files of accounts payable invoices received with packing lists Review personal P.O. invoices –– code if possible, add vendor codes and forward to appropriate persons Review expense reports, credit card receipts, utilities/phone bills–code and forward for approval Review freight bills for proper carrier used, attach delivery receipts–code and forward for approval; contact vendor if incorrect carrier used Knowledge, Skills and, Abilities (KSA's) Ability to read, analyze, interpret common financial reports, legal documents, respond to common inquiries from regulatory agencies, write reports and business correspondence, effectively present information to company employees and management Be a curious analytic; a person who, by nature, can pick up on things looking curious and naturally want to dig into things to see what they mean, find solutions, make suggestions, build ideas and solve potential problems Establish credibility and trust easily.
