IT Business Analyst (Functional)
ResponsibilitiesThe Business Analyst works with internal stakeholders to analyze and document business processes in Home Health and Autism Therapy business lines, and develop technical specifications for IT applications supporting those processes. Will also assist in testing the application prior to implementation.Gathers and documents customer requirements.Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize the product backlog during planning meetings.Creates user stories in the product backlog to support development of applications.Works with development and project management teams to clarify user acceptance criteria.Develops prototypes to validate requirementsProvides analysis and acceptance criteria for requirements.Performs Quality Assurance testing to ensure software meets requirements.Coordinate with other team members including other business analysts, QA analysts, and PMs.Participate in system implementation, including UAT and pilot activities.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business (or equivalent experience in Home Health / Healthcare Industry or Application Software–related business analyst)2+ years of experience, preferably in healthcare industryAbility to communicate effectively, both oral and written, with internal and external stakeholders at multiple levelsAbility to clearly and concisely gather, interpret, analyze, and document informationAbility to translate business and technical requirements into the form of Epics and User StoriesDemonstrable analytic reasoning and problem solving capabilityAdept at understanding customer needs and analyzing those needs across customer base to identify the best solution Knowledge and experience with low & high fidelity mock–up tools, and/or SQL.Centria Healthcare is a rapidly growing innovative company founded in 2009.
