Senior Consultant Corporate Finance

As a Senior Corporate Finance, you will be part of the Corporate Finance team and take part in in both M&A and Capital and Debt Advisory projects (i.e. financing in various structures from bilateral to syndicated facilities, capital raising) from establishing client relationship, throughout the process, up to successful closing. As part of the project team you will be involved in preparing necessary documentation (i.e Teaser, Information Memorandum, VDR management, Investors and Financiers lists, pitches) and in discussions with the client, will take part in executing the project and be in charge of various execution tasks.


Your technical responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and deliver highest quality go-to-market materials: Teaser, Information Memorandum, Management Presentation, pitches, etc
  • Capable of delivering financial models from scratch for the M&A and CDA purposes, including sensitivity analysis
  • Capable of performing high level valuations of companies according to the scope of the project (CDA/ M&A)
  • Very good knowledge of financial analysis
  • Very good in synthetizing  and identifying the key aspects that build the story
  • Manage own time to budgets and communicate progress against plan to senior executive/project manager
  • Raise awareness over potential client positioning and participate in business development activities

Your client responsibilities

  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and understanding of the client agenda with tactical solutions and strategic views
  • Build strong internal relationships within the Corporate Finance team and across other service lines
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress


Your people responsibilities

  • Determine own learning and career development objectives, agree and manage own development plan
  • Actively involved in “training on the job” for the juniors members
  • Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting, retaining and training other professionals

Required experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services (e.g. consultancy, banking, M&A, investment banking, corporate finance)
  • Relevant professional qualifications (nice to have): CFA, ACCA  

Competencies

  • Good modelling skills
  • Good understanding of  financial analysis
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in  English and Romanian (writing and verbal)
