Operations Finance Business Partner

1)Performance Management:
•Ensure Operating system forperformance management is active in the assigned execution team
•Responsible for effective KPIdeployment within assigned execution team/teams
•Ensure Visual Managementsystems are effectively used to highlight and improve performance levels
•The FBP also engages with theirassigned function by participating in their daily stand ups and weekly meetings
•Partner with the executionteam/teams to ensure Wildly Important Goals (WIGs) are known and pursued
•Objectively assess the RCAtools and framework is in place and coach assigned execution team as needed
•Objectively challengeperformance of the assigned team
•Produce relevant managementreports, Gap analysis and co-create improvement plans with the assignedexecution teams 2) General Cost Analytics & Control
•The Operations FBP must haveuse a strong understanding of the cost drivers with the operations and takesownership of cost development
•While the GSC will beresponsible for signing off the monthly financial figures to the OperationsFinance and CENFIN. The GSC will report "WHAT happened". The FBP willsubsequently analyse the cost developments & cost drivers and explain "WHY"it happened.
•The Ops FBP participates in theperiod end sign-off calls with the GSC.
•The Ops FBP engages with inlandops/fin to stay updated on business developments that impact cost developmentsand challenges cost escalations.
•The Ops FBP conveys businessintel to the GSC cost controllers through participating in weekly ATRengagements
•The Ops FBP will as neededbuild relevant cost models to forecast and better predict cost developments inthe assigned cost types with the aim of mitigating unfavourable developments.
•The Ops FBP must challengebusiness case or decision base assumptions and ensure that a benefitrealisation check is in place for all major business cases.
•The Ops FBP must ensure thatstandard cost is reflecting the expected operational cost within their areas ofresponsibility.
•The Ops FBP uses balanced andindependent analysis to provide data and drive business decisions across multiplestakeholders and management levels.3) Enables Cost Saving:
•The Ops FBP is responsible forcoordinating all cost saving programmes for assigned cluster (SMARTOPS,GamePlan etc) and drives the follow up on these and ensure benefit realisationin the monthly report.
•The Ops FBP would contributeand help deliver on Joint cost saving plans with assigned cluster
•Must develop/co-create orimplement tools (e.g. SPOT, contingency log and thresholds) to ensure assignedoperational teams constantly take the optimum decisions
•Ensure sub-optimisation isavoided through thorough correct identification or relevant costs, sunk costsand Total cost of ownership
•The Operations FBP must assistthe Operations Business CFO in working closely together with the RegionalFinance team, driving cost recovery/reduction, profitability, and ensure closealignment between the regional/country cluster and the operations. 4) Contribute to the MLBFinance community:
•Actively participate in theOperations finance community to learn & share best practices as needed
•Stay aligned with CEN FP&Astandard reporting toolsRequire Experience or SkillsEducation& Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent required, MBA plus
• Minimum 5 years of related industry experience is a plus
• Have a working knowledge of SAP
• Advanced technical skills in Access, Power point & ExcelKey Competencies and Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem solvingskills
