The key responsibility of this role is to manage all the Securitisation Trust related reporting for Mortgages and ensure timely and quality deliverables to RBA and APRA.
You will also be required to be the point of resolution for data queries from the Reserve Bank, APRA and the securitisation team concerning unusual mortgages data trends, advising on data quality and extraction methods and the implementation of complex conceptual solutions to providing data.
Key accountabilities include:
  • Manage and execute the creation of Securitisation pool cuts for the business
  • Liaise with Perpetual and Securitisation team in the redevelopment and adaptation of reporting schemas to meet new an evolving data reporting requirements
  • Collate and contribute to regular investor presentations and audits.
  • Independently manage and execute the creation of Securitisation pool cuts for the business
  • Lead the mortgages component of the re-development of all APRA reporting (Economic and Financial Statistics modernisation), manage the parallel reporting of both the old and the new formats to Finance team for all mortgages data, for review and consolidation by Finance
  • Be the single point of contact for all the queries raised Securitisation Manager, Mortgages Business Manager and Finance lead on Trust and Finance related reporting
  • Review Securitisation process documentation for accuracy when required
  • Ensure the timely delivery of all the regular finance related reports
  • Highlight the issues and discrepancies in the definitions used in both Mortgage portfolio reports and Finance related reporting to Head of Mortgages Risk. Make sure that the necessary steps taken to ensure consistency between portfolio and Finance reporting
  • Responsible for Mortgages related EFS report development and ongoing submission of reports
  • Responsible for managing the complete documentation related to RBA, Finance and EFS related reports
  • Establish the necessary controls and data checks are established to make sure that the quality of the data is maintained


  • 6-10 years of experience in Reporting and Data Analysis. Prior experience in RBA and regulatory reporting is preferable
  • Sound understanding of Mortgage Lending Practices and Residential Real Estate
  • Tertiary qualifications in a Engineering/statistics/Computer Science discipline desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and prioritise
  • Effective relationship management, team membership and communication skills
  • Reporting and Data analysis using advanced SAS, SQL and Excel experience is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Maintaining MS-Access databases is desirable
