Business Analyst III----IT
Elicitation and Analysis:
Responsible to lead and elicit requirements by applying a structured business analysis approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the business and using common BA techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys.
Manage stakeholder interactions to identify and gather requirements critical to a business problem, process or set of processes in the context of a project.
Develop and model processes/data flows. Identify and document business rules. Produce required documentation.
Communicate with project stakeholders within or outside the department.
Responsible for communication of business and technical information to varying audiences at the correct level to gain consensus and understanding.
Define process for communication of changes, enhancements, and modifications to requirements – communicate this information verbally or through written documentation to project managers, team members, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
Responsible to resolve all issues related to requirements and stakeholder understanding of how the solution meets the requirements.
Assessment and Verification
Evaluate and research solutions in collaboration with the technical team to recommend the most cost effective and efficient solution.
Responsible to ensure requirements and resulting recommended solutions are validated and approved by the project stakeholders.
Write User test cases Coordinate the user acceptance testing process for a project.
Coordinate and/or support the validation activities for a project.
Support implementation and transition activities for a project.
Support creation of user materials & training material
Leadership and Planning:
Lead the effort to identify, define and plan the scope of requirements analysis needed.
Identify and select the appropriate tools and techniques to be used to elicit and verify requirements.
Collaborate with project managers and project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
A broad view of the Service Management and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
Strong knowledge of business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, and verification. Knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures used in analysis and design. Good understanding of information systems theory and principles.
Good analytical skills required, including an understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of managers and subject matter experts. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at multiple levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.
Good understanding of CMDB data and Application Portfolio management related to the conduct of the business supported by the ServiceNow platform.
Good knowledge of validation GxP methodologies and strategies.
Education: Formal Education And Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related scientific or technical discipline.
Four or more years relevant experience.
ServiceNow CMDB or BMC CMDB or application management
Knowledge And Skills Desirable But Not Essential:
Business Analyst certification
Experience working in a functional role within pharmaceutical development
