We Offer

Opportunity to work on the Valuation Oversight team at Credit Suisse Asset Management, responsible for the valuations of various hedge fund and private equity investments for primarily financial reporting purposes. The team works on a variety of assignments, encompassing transactions, financial product valuation, and modeling, using discounted cash flow, market approach and transaction analyses. The role’s principal function is to support the quarterly valuation process by working with the investment teams and finance teams. Team members gain exposure to Credit Suisse’s various Asset Management investments and the teams that lead and support them.

Responsibilities include:

  • Independently collect data related to the valuation
  • You will design and take ownership of financial models for valuations purposes (discounted cash flows, market multiple, transaction, etc.)
  • Perform and maintain valuation analysis on a broad range of hedge fund and private equity investments using widely accepted and relevant approaches and theory
  • You will assist in preparing and presenting the results of our analysis to management and other parties
  • Complete information and ad hoc requests as received
  • Assist in preparing for various quarterly valuation committee meetings
  • Support the year-end audit valuation testing by collaborating with the 3rd party valuation party and investment team

You Offer

  • Minimum 4-5 years of valuation experience required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical, comprehension, and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • You are able to master new tasks quickly
  • Ability to multi-task several projects with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle and adapt to a rapidly changing assignments
  • You possess strong modeling and quantitative skills
  • You have previous experience interacting/interfacing with regulatory agencies and Senior Management
