My client is looking for an ambitious FP&A Analyst, who will provide analytical support across several divisions. You will be joining a dedicated, high performing team. The individual will help drive the best financial and commercial decisions to deliver operational results. This role is commutable from both Norhamptonshire and Leicestershire.

Description
Duties:
- Play a supporting role in the delivery of the 5 Year Plan, budget and forecasting processes.
- Support the development of standard monthly and weekly KPI reporting across the division.
- Deliver quality reporting and analytical outputs to fixed deadlines.
- Support the month end close process by preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support the production of the monthly board pack to provide the senior team with a suite of information that can be used to drive actionable insights.
- Ensure that relevant key market intelligence information is regularly collected to support decision making and to help evaluate business performance and future strategy and planning processes.
- Challenge current processes and recommend improvements to all aspects of reporting and analysis. Strive to improve current processes and reduce time on data production, so analysis becomes the key focus.
- Plan and manage small scale projects to improve reporting processes or investigate reasons behind performance variances.
Profile
What we are looking for:
You will need to have the confidence in your ability to enable you to build strong relationships, turn data into tangible information for the team, and recommend changes to reports where necessary. You will be a highly motivated, proactive, a self-starter with advanced Excel skills that is able to comfortably work with large volumes of data.
- Qualified - ACCA, CIMA, ACA
- Experience and competent in the preparation of financial management reports.
- Ability to accurately follow departmental procedures relating to financial planning, analysis and reporting.
- The individual must be able to work as both part of a team, across functions and on their own initiative, be flexible and to review current practices with the target of improving the department to achieve modern best practices.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, experience of accounting packages.
- Maintain effective communication with both divisional and group colleagues.
- Ability to accurately follow departmental procedures relating to financial planning, analysis and reporting.
