Supplier Oversight Consultant - Fund Accounting and Pricing

The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Supplier Oversight Consultant to join our Fund Accounting and Pricing team.

The Team

The purpose of the team is to oversee the services provided by third party administrators (TPAs) to M&G's retail funds.

The services are primarily fund accounting and pricing focussed but also cover other associated activities, such as regulatory reporting and share class hedging.

The retail funds are:

• UK OEICS
• Luxembourg SICAVs
• Irish ICAVs
• Guernsey funds

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• To carry out regular checks of data produced by the TPAs and resolving any issues identified.
• Ensuring ad-hoc issues (either to or from the TPA) are dealt with professionally and promptly.
• Proofing of financial statements.
• Monitoring of the regulatory reporting service provided by the TPA.
• To receive KPI reports from TPAs and produce monthly MI reports.
• Input to Service Level review updates.
• Ensuring various control reports (spreadsheet based) are maintained.
• Attend meetings (alongside a more experienced team member) with internal departments and external suppliers.
• Ensuring procedures are reviewed and updated when required.

What we are looking for

You will have a good knowledge of fund accounting/pricing of multi-shareclass collective investment schemes. As well as this you will be experienced in reviewing proofs of financial statements and be knowledgeable of applicable regulatory documents such as, SORP, COLL. Strong Excel skills are key, you will also have an excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
