Finance and Control Officer – Cost Accounting

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Finance and Control Officer to be responsible for providing robust financial and accounting as well as administrative services. As a cost accounting expert, s/he will perform the day-to-day accounting for administrative expenses of the ESM and EFSF. S/he will be in charge of the monthly closing of the Accounts Payable and General Ledger. In addition, s/he will also take care of other administrative tasks, such as checking credit card statements, maintaining the fixed asset inventory and related depreciations as well as performing account reconciliations. 
 
KEY BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE 
 
•At least 5 years of professional experience in cost accounting and accounts payable; 
•A University degree in Business Administration is mandatory; 
•Good knowledge of software applications/databases and reporting tools used in the specific area (ideally Oracle Fusion) is required; 
•Excellent knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS and EU-GAAP); 
•Experienced Microsoft Excel user; 
•Proven track record in working with external service providers; 
•Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a plus.
