Temp to perm opportunity to join a leading organisation in the North West of Coventry as a Payroll Clerk managing a diverse and varied payroll across weekly and monthly paid employees.

Description

The Payroll Clerk position will involve:

  • Collation of and processing of payroll information from various sites across the UK ensuring accuracy and validity before processing
  • Dealing with any staff payroll queries
  • Identifying and resolving payroll errors in payroll system and work with colleagues to resolve
  • Provide guidance to staff and colleagues on all aspects of the payroll process
  • Starter and leavers
  • Work closely with all operational managers and HR to provide a seamless payroll service
  • Process all payroll documentation P45's P11'd etc
  • Support with payroll reporting, using excel to manipulate payroll data
  • SSP, SMP reporting and processing

Profile

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within a varied and fast paced (weekly) payroll with exposure to managing various pay rates/shift allowances etc. You will have strong communication and IT skills (excel) and understand current payroll legislation and able to make manual calculations to effectively identify any payroll errors.
