As the Senior Finance Analyst you will be involved in monthly financial reporting, support to major programme contract accounting, finance support to Sector SVP Finance, finance support to Sector SVP's & initiatives, sector Finance support to Business Units, co-ordination and collection, develop, report and drive key insights, financial KPI's and financial information to support and guide management decision making.

My client are a FTSE 250 organisation based in Wimborne. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team.

Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Sector monthly financial reporting.
  • Collation of BU results for flash reporting.
  • Preparation of financial analysis for monthly report.
  • Aid preparation of monthly business review pack.
  • Support to contract accounting & financial analysis.
  • Finance support to Forecast, Budget & 3YP process and financial analysis.
  • Finance support to CMS Sector SVPs (Engineering, Operations, Commercial & Lifetime Support).
  • Support to Group / Sector projects & initiatives such as Project Advance, Lifetime Support analysis, Borderless Engineering, operations initiatives.
  • Ad-hoc reporting requests, collation of data from BU's & analysis.
  • Ad-hoc support to BU finance teams.

Profile

To be successful in your application for Senior Financial Analyst, you should have:

  • Sound technical skills and an ability to work at both a detailed level and higher review level.
  • MS Office - especially Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Confidence and communications skills to work effectively at all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience in a deadline driven environment where quality must be maintained.
  • Motivated, with drive to complete tasks to best of ability.
