An excellent opportunity has arisen within The Bailey Group for an experienced Client Manager to join our busy Peterlee Practice.
We are looking to recruit a qualified Client Manager to join our professional, expanding team.
To be considered you will have at least 5 years experience at a senior level within a recognised UK based firm of Accountants.
Relevant knowledge of accounts production for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and limited liability partnerships is required.
You will have exposure to a wide range of clients, whilst supervising and motivating a small team.
The successful candidate will be ACA/ ACCA qualified, with substantial practice experience.
You will also possess excellent communication, inter personnel and IT skills (Excel).
Ability to build client relationships and experience of working with clients at a senior level is essential.
Attention to detail, with excellent organisational skills and a "can do" attitude is a must.
Duties include (but are not exhaustive):
Experience of IRIS and would be beneficial.
Full time, permanent.
37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. 20 days annual holiday, plus Bank Holidays.

- Managing a Portfolio of LLP and Ltd Company clients.
- Incorporating new LLP's and limited companies
- Working to strict deadlines and reporting to senior Management.
- Liaising with clients and HMRC.
- Reviewing of accounts preparation, reviewing personal tax returns.
- Accounts completion and corporate tax returns.
- Technical accounting queries and Year end accounts.
- Proficient knowledge of Income tax, corporation tax and VAT.
- Giving proactive tax and accounting advice to clients and the impact on accounts is essential.
Experience of IRIS and would be beneficial.
