Finance Manager

Job scope
As a Finance Manager and Business Partner, you will oversee and manage the overall finance function of the company. He or she will provide strategic finance advice and professional expertise in the interpretation and application of finance policy to support and influence financial planning and management decision making. Ensure the company meet all financial obligation.

• Oversee and review monthly closing of accounts and ensure that the accounts are prepared in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standards in Singapore.
• Review and approve monthly management costing report.
• Review and approve all journal entries.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant regulatory bodies.
• Provide support in preparation of the budget and cash flow forecast.
• Implement and modify existing procedures to improve workflow and document filing.
• Recommend periodic financial closing procedure as required.
• Oversee the payment process, ensure cheque payment prepared by the finance executive are supported by documents for management approval.
• Ensure the legal and regulatory compliance of financial function.
• Supervise and provide direction to subordinate.
• Monthly invoice verification follow up with project department.
• Any other ad-hoc duties to be discussed.

Job requirement

• Degree in Accountancy preferred or with minimum Diploma in Accounting, ACCA is preferred.
• Adaptable and collaborative working style.
• Good communication and follow-up skills and well-versed with MS Office and JD Edward accounting software.
• Strong analytical mind with commercial and business acumen.
• Meticulous with positive working attitude.
• Willing to work in Bukit Indah, Johor Bahru.
