Assistant Management Accountant

They are seeking a fantastic Assistant Management Accountant that can add value to the growing finance function.

They are looking for an equally ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to maintain this growth period, they have fantastic development opportunities in house and have a great track record of promoting senior roles from within the business.

Description

This Assistant Management Accountant role will include;

*Supporting the Financial Controller with all month-end tasks as required.

*Supporting the Financial Controller with the production of monthly management accounts packs including contract and overhead reports.

*Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for review.

*Responsible for accruals and prepayments for overhead cost centres.

*Collation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.

*Preparation of weekly cash forecasts for review.

*Supporting the Financial Controller with improving finance reports and process.

*Supporting the Financial Controller with preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.

*Support for the finance team with ad hoc reporting and processing as required

Profile

This role is best suited to a part qualified accountant with a strong foundation of experience working as an Assistant Accountant. This role will require experience with;

*Month end accounts

*Analysis

*Working to deadlines

*CIMA or ACCA mid-level and above

*Excellent systems experience and a minimum of intermediate excel knowledge (VLOOKUPs and Pivots included)
