Senior Finance Manager

A new and exciting opportunity with a well established technology business in the Reading area. They are currently looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join their high performing team. The role will be responsible for a team of qualified accountants and have the scope of the EMEA region.

Our client are a high performing, US Technology business, well known and established across the Thames Valley. They hold their EMEA HQ in Reading and are well regarded for development and progression of their high performing staff.

Description

The Senior Finance Manager will be working closely alongside the Financial Controller; Managing a team of up to 5 qualified Financial Accountants tasked with managing the EMEA day to day accounting and GL activities. This role will Ensure EMEA month end is closed in line with corporate deadlines; monthly, quarterly & annually.

This role will lead coordination of the close, Commissions, Funding, Fixed Assets & others as defined, ensuring a high level of Compliance with GAAP, SOX and local laws.

Profile

The successful candidate will have a strong background in EMEA Accounting with at least 5 years post qualified experience, and a track record of managing large qualified finance teams. Ideally the successful candidate will have had experience in a US owned organisation and must have had exposure to US GAAP & SOX controls.

Job Offer

For the successful candidate a package of £70,000 to £75,000 plus a defined benefits package.
