Our client, arguably the most dynamic and fastpaced FTSE listed businesses, with a fantastic reputation for talent planning and development, is looking to source a bright and ambitious Graduate Finance Analyst to join its talented team.
The role will support and manage a £1.5bn budget, working with stakeholders and Finance Managers to understand costs across several regions.
Main duties: \* Maintaining rates which underpin accrual and forecast figures \* Ensuring billing from responsible cost centres are accurate \* Managing reconciliation of balance sheet accounts \* Driving continuous improvements \* Monitoring and reviewing processes, as well as updating models used \* Building relationships with a variety of stakeholders and suppliers \* Preparing month end journals and posting \* Taking ownership of ad hoc projects
Key skills and experience required: \* Strong academics including a minimum 2:1 degree \* Studying towards, or enrolled with ACCA/CIMA \* 12
18 months finance experience in an industry role would be advantageous, either as part of a sandwich year or post university; those without will still be considered should they show a passion for a career in finance, an impressive degree and all the other qualities required to succeed \* Demonstrates a positive and proactive approach to problem solving \* Capable of effective time management and prioritisation \* Confident working with large volumes of data and presenting key issues \* Exceptional communication; ability to build professional relationships with a range of individuals and levels
