Assistant Management Accountant
Based: Preston
Salary: Up to £25,000 plus FULL STUDY SUPPORT
Our client, a reputable and fast growing business based in the Preston area are currently looking for a confident and pro active Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The position on offer is reporting to a Management Accountant on a daily basis and involves the following duties:
Role:
- Business partnering across the business with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Cost Engineers. - Take responsibility for the timely completion of information for the Monthly Management Accounts including; - Aid to develop both the budgeting and forecasting processes for projects. - Support the project team to ensure projects are run according to group policy and financial standards. - Report on project variances - Supporting a variety of financial projects designed to improve current processes and systems. - Support in areas such as annual, project, and internal audit process. - Support the wider finance function, to aid in the delivery of accurate financial and management information. - Support the bid process with financial reports, compliance and challenge financial data.
This role would suit someone AAT Qualified looking to study further onto CIMA/ACCA and join a fantastic company in their local area.
