Financial Controller - Croydon

Your new company A high-profile business are recruiting for a Financial Controller, based in Croydon with excellent transport links.You will manage the accounts department including all general ledger, purchase ledger and financial control functions. Your new role Reporting to the CFO, you will provide leadership and direction to a medium size team. Your key tasks will include managing the month end closure, annual budgets/forecast, statutory reporting, audit, review monthly balance sheets for the business operations, manage the treasury function, oversee the management of the payroll department,as well as maintaining and improve controls and processes. You will drive a culture of business partnering and engage with the operation stakeholders to achieve the aims of the organisation. What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA with strong leadership and technical experience. Ability to analyse and present complex financial information with strong IT skills.You will be ambitious with the ability to lead, make decisions and drive the future success of the business. You will be commercially astute and confident to provide strategic decisions as well as supporting and developing a team. Ideally you will have multi-site experience and external audit experience. This role will suit someone with the above experience or someone who is looking for the next step up.
