Job Description
We are looking for a Treasury Planning and Analysis Manager to join our fast-paced team in Brentford! This role has been created to primarily support the Director Treasury Planning and Analysis as well as the wider Corporate Finance team with complex planning and analysis work including cash flow and interest forecasting, credit rating modelling and Credit Rating Agency interactions. In particular you will help create and maintain dedicated modelling for the proposed group demerger (current target of H2 2022) as well as other key strategic initiatives. You will provide continuity of support for the Group Treasurer and VP Corporate Finance in the absence of the Director Treasury Planning and Analysis. Given the changing landscape of the capital structure of GSK there is no better time to join the business! In this role you will play a key role in designing the balance sheet of the business. This role would suit an individual with a strong FP&A background looking to move into the world of Treasury. Your responsibilities: You will work with the Director Planning and Analysis to: * Manage group wide net debt, interest reporting and forecasting, and provision of year-end disclosure information related to Corporate Treasury's areas of responsibility. * Develop and maintain Treasury modelling tools. * Perform credit rating analysis for normal course of business and in relation to proposed projects such as the proposed demerger (typically but not limited to large acquisitions and disposals). * Provide support for ad hoc Corporate Finance projects as they arise (e.g. assessment of debt capacity, working capital related, risk management, structured transactions, M&A or other). * Oversee processes in relation to preparation and presentation of papers for the Treasury Management Group. * Working in partnership with GSK's Investor Relations team, maintain effective interaction, build and maintain relationships with GSK's Credit Rating Agencies. * Maintain effective interaction, build and maintain relationships with Global Relationship Banks and other external advisers. * Execute all transactions in accordance with Treasury policies, with approved counterparties and within approved limits. * Maintain a culture of continuous improvement within the department, initiating and implementing process improvements. Basic qualifications: * Financial qualification or qualified by experience (eg: CGMA, ACCA, AMCT, CFA) * Proven aptitude in advanced financial modelling (i.e. across multiple scenarios and including sensitivity) * Advanced excel capabilities * Prior experience in FP&A role Preferred qualifications: * MCT, AMCT qualified * Treasury experience (corporate finance) As a company driven by our values of Patient focus, Transparency, Respect and Integrity, we know inclusion and diversity are essential for us to be able to succeed.
