Our national Reward business represents the largest Reward practice in any professional services firm and has practitioners specialising in every area of how and why employers pay employees.

Working within our Reward team, your role will be varied and challenging. You will be involved in helping listed and private companies with all aspects of employee reward, including designing, implementing and operating share and cash incentive arrangements, management of employee benefits and supporting clients in meeting their tax, legal, regulatory and compliance obligations in relation to employee and director remuneration. We are a true advisory practice, and aim to work in partnership with our clients to deliver high quality, high impact advice.

Your role
Our team supports a broad client portfolio across a range of industries, from very large global corporations through to smaller fast-growing businesses - both listed and private companies.

We are looking for people with a varying range of experience to join our team - from newly qualifieds with very limited or no Reward experience but an interest in the area through to people with more experience in related areas (such as audit, mobility or private client services).

Responsibilities include:
  • Advising both listed and private clients on the design, implementation and operation of a wide range of incentive arrangements in the UK and globally (including use of tax-advantaged arrangements, where appropriate). This would involve consideration of the tax, legal and regulatory impact of such plans;
  • Coordinating global tax, legal and regulatory reviews of existing and proposed incentive/benefit arrangements;
  • Advising on the Reward aspects of corporate transactions (including coordinating due diligence reviews and assisting with tax structuring advice);
  • Managing high-profile and complex client accounts and relationships; and
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities on clients and targets (both in relation to Reward and wider Tax/Deloitte services).

Yourprofessional experience
• Ideally in the professional services environment or inindustry (and/or related areas with an interest in share plans or managementincentives);
• Willingness to learn and deal with new ideas andtechnical areas;
• Commercial awareness;
• Able to produce high quality, client facing, wellwritten work;
• Pro-active and able to take ownership of deliveringprojects to clients; and
• Ideally one of the following qualifications:
o ACCA/ACA/ATII/ATT/CTA,Solicitor or Barrister
