Our FMCG client based in Camberley, has gone through significant growth this year and are looking for a Financial Accountant to take ownership of the balance sheet.

Description
Financial Accountant Accountabilities:
Creation of assets on the asset register, ensuring the correct asset category and useful life are applied in line with company policy
Management of WIP account
Monthly processing of depreciation and monthly reconciliation
Maintenance and development of the company asset policy
Accounting for motor vehicles including HP creditor and running costs
Provision of detailed information to auditors at year end
Provision of detailed tax information to the company's tax advisors as required
Review of actual spend against purchase orders including for larger projects, liaising with external contractors to ensure correct accounting for spend
Monitoring of capital spend against budget, preparing monthly information pack for Leadership Team on spend to date and forecast spend
Potential development of asset tagging system and asset audit programme
Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation and investigations of stock balances and prepayments
Monitoring of stockholding trends by locations, development and calculation of KPIs to assist with monitoring of working capital
Assistance with month end processes
