Deputy Financial Controller

Financial Controller Our client, one of the UK's leading charitable organisations is looking for a permanent Deputy Financial Controller. This is a highly rewarding role where the successful person will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of financial control across the organisation. Day to day duties: Preparing monthly and annual financial statements Preparing annual statutory accounts for a number of subsidiary companies Balance sheet preparation and reconciliation Drafting and submitting VAT and corporation tax returns Ensuring internal and external policies and procedures are adhered to Ongoing improvement of systems and reporting procedures Line management and mentoring of junior finance staff Required person skills Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Advanced numerical skills with an eye for detail and strong Excel skills An ability to analyse processes and suggest improvements Strong customer service, business partnering and communication skills The successful candidate will receive a wide range of benefits including an excellent pension scheme, staff discounts and initiatives.
