Role: Financial Controller - London Group of Hotels
Location: Central London
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum DOE
My client has a fantastic opportunity to join them as the Financial Controller for an established London Hotel Group. The role will be to undertake the day to day company financial activities, while the business continues to grow. Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record in a senior finance role within the Hotel or Hospitality industry. Candidates will have a successful track record of developing robust financial systems and processes in the hotel sector.
You will be required to take responsibility for:
All the financial functions across the group Managing and tracking financial activities across daily occupancy rates, food & beverage, events & function, cash handling, billing, payment, cash flow forecasting, weekly sales figures Produce monthly management accounts, KPI information and to complete quarterly and year-end statutory returns and coordinate figures for audit Essential requirements are:
Accounting Qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) - preferable but not essential depending on expertise and experience Advanced experience using SAGE V24.2 and above, Opera, PMS and other hotel financial systems Outstanding experience in the management of core Hotel & Hospitality accounting systems and processes Excellent communication skills Previous hotel & hospitality accounting and finance management experience is essential Ideally, you will have been an Financial Controller for several years, and this will be the next step in your career Able to provide references covering the last five years This vacancy is being managed by Laura Farmer at Spear Recruitment Ltd
