**Your role** Assistant Managers in the Audit & Assurance Analytics & Modelling team are expected to contribute to the development of analytical or data modelling services to our clients internal stakeholders and external clients. You will work closely with Analytics & Modelling management to support projects and look to help find a solution to complex business problems, recommending appropriate action.

**Responsibilities**

Providing data analytics and modelling services through the use of software such as SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI and VBA to deliver meaningful insights by supporting all phases from development to implementation; *

Development and delivery of innovative analytics solutions to support evolving audit or external client requirements and the changing data landscape; *

Managing a team of Associates within the wider Audit & Assurance analytics team, including developing the skills and confidence of those junior staff and acting as a role model to inspire and mentor; *

Working with audit teams to integrate analytics more deeply into the external audit approach, and with our clients to embed analytics into their business and culture; *

Contributing to the team's and Deloitte's thought leadership and strategy in Audit & Assurance; *

Building and developing long term relationships with stakeholders across our client organisations. *

**Your professional experience Essential:**

*

Advanced data analytics technical experience or qualifications, in at least one of the following: SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, or VBA; *

Experience of working on complex data driven, analytical, data visualisation or modelling projects; *

Track record of working with clients and building great relationships; *

Strong understanding of modelling and/or analytics best practice; *

Have translated complex ideas to a non-data-literate audience; *

Ability to work autonomously and in a team; *

Excellent oral and written communication skills. **Desirable**

Experience of analytics or modelling projects relating to Audit and/or Assurance within a professional services firm, listed or private business; *

Track record of defining and delivering insightful Analytical dashboards; *

Experience in other languages such as Python and R; *

Knowledge and experience of types of models and their mechanics (e.g. Impairment, Working Capital); *

Holding or working towards a professional qualification (ACCA/ACA/CISA or equivalent); *
