Accountant
We are looking for an aspiring accountant to join an accountancy practice client of ours based in Liverpool. You will most likely have a year or two experience under your belt and either AAT qualified or on your way to being so. You will also come from within an accountancy practice background, and you will be used to working with Excel, Sage accounting software, QBO or Xero
Our client is a small, established chartered accountancy practice who provide the full array of accounting services including bookkeeping, payroll services, preparing accounts for limited companies and sole traders as well as personal tax returns and VAT returns. The successful candidate will receive excellent training and full support with regards to continuing your accounting qualifications.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 5:30pm with an early finish of 5:00pm on Fridays. There is free on-site parking available for those who drive, and ample public transport for those who do not.
Job Specification:
* General bookkeeping duties (Sage, QBO) * Payroll services * Reviewing & preparing VAT returns * Tax computations - self assessment and corporation tax * Tax compliance & dealing with HMRC * Preparation of accounts to trial balance
Skills Required:
* Minimum 1 years accounting experience * Must come from a practice background * An accounting qualification such as AAT qualified or part qualified ACCA * Good knowledge of accounting software, Sage, QBO and Xero
Benefits:
