Job Description
Your new company This company is a worldwide known brand and has sites in many different countries. With over £80m turnover, they are currently seeking an assistant management accountant to join their growing team, due to workload increasing. Reporting into the management accountant you will be based in Abingdon. Your new role You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts and completion of Group monthly reporting pack, assisting with completion of group budget and forecasting forms, assisting with analysis of customer and product profitability as required, preparing VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales lists in a timely manner, assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts, completion of the year-end tax pack, assisting with the preparation of quarterly licensing reports, providing cover for sales and purchase ledger functions as required, customer account reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, maintaining customer terms and price lists on Oracle, accruals and prepayments. What you'll need to succeed You will have had experience within a similar role, not necessarily all tasks, but a good overall knowledge of the role and duties asked. Oracle experience is preferred but not essential. Can be a studier (AAT or ACCA/CIMA) or non-studier (QBE). You will need to be good on excel and MS office due to the daily tasks being on these platforms. What you'll get in return Competitive salary of up to £30,000 dependent on experience (£28,000 - £30,000). Holiday entitlement plus all bank holidays and Christmas - New Year shut down. Parking onsite along with good working hours of 37.5 a week. Dress down Fridays. Study support package for the right candidate along with company pension and a company discretionary related bonus.
