Accountably Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join their growing team based in Southampton, Hampshire. Job Title: Accountant Location: Hamble, Southampton - SO31 4RA Salary: £28,000 - £39,000 per annum dependent on experience We are a thriving small Chartered Accountancy practice looking to recruit the next key member of our friendly team. This is an interesting and varied role which offers flexible working and the opportunity to be part of a proper team who contribute to the direction of the business. Accountant - Key Responsibilities: - Providing excellent customer service and advice - Organising your client portfolio and meeting deadlines - Accounts preparation - Corporation tax preparation - Preparation of tax returns Accountant - You: - You will be an accountant with previous experience of working for a UK accountancy practice. We can consider ACA/ACCA/AAT/ATT/part qualified - You will have a background of preparing accounts, corporation tax returns, personal tax returns and dealing with clients - Excellent communication skills are required including written and spoken English - You will be a team player who is organised and able to use your initiative - Be proud of the quality of your work with the ability to work to deadlines - You will be able to manage your own client portfolio - A fan of cloud computing such as Xero and QuickBooks Accountant - Benefits: - Flexible working hours - Flexible holiday entitlement - Continuing professional development and training - Workplace Pension - On site parking Part time working can be considered with minimum 3 days each week.
