Established and Professional Chartered Accountancy Practice based near Guildford are seeking a newly Qualified Senior Accountant to join their expanding team. The ideal Senior Accountant will be ideally ACA or ACCA newly qualified or awaiting final sign off or QBE, and have at least 3 years experience working as a Senior, Semi Senior or Assistant in an Accountancy Practice.
With this role the successful Senior Accountant will be given excellent opportunities to further progress their knowledge and career while working with supportive colleagues.
**Senior Accountant****Position Overview**
Take the lead on a varied mix of clients accounts assignments Liaise with relevant managers and clients to plan assignments Plan juniors work and assist with their training and development Monitor juniors work and prepare budgets and timetables Visit clients to prepare work and discuss accounts, CT etc. Ensure disclosures are in line with regulations Finalise files for Managers and Partners to review, ensuring all client queries are answered accurately Prepare working papers for complex accountants Able to make recommendations to clients to improve their accounting systems Ability to juggle own work and work under pressure to deliver accounts jobs efficiently Provide feedback to more junior staff as appropriate
**Senior Accountant****Position Requirements**
ACA or ACCA qualified or Qualified by Experience Recent practice experience of a minimum of 2/3 years Essential to be a strong accountant with excellent accounts preparation knowledge Ability to lead juniors to producing accurate work within budgets
**Senior Accountant****Position Remuneration**
Excellent Salary of £34,000 to £42,000 dependant on experience and qualifications Study support including financial compensation and time off Be a well respected member of a team and have a position of responsibility Excellent office environment Continuing CPD Clear route to progress career Be part of a well established
