Opportunity with a rapidly expanding (400 staff, headcount grown by
in the past 6 months), multisite technology services organisation.
This is a newly created position which will assume responsibility and architectural ownership for the organisations Data Centre estates
hundreds of fully populated cabinets
and Private / Shared cloud services portfolio.
Working closely with senior management, youll look after governance of the estate; operational performance and risk management, with considerably input into the technology roadmap.
This position carries budgetary responsibility and in addition youll help manage and develop a small (growing), team of technical subject matter experts.
Given the nature of the business youll be working with absolutely cuttingedge technology (often working with earlyaccess technology products and pilots), ensuring the platforms in place are able to support the demands placed upon them.
Youll also be working to drive forward the inception of automation and orchestration within the business; you dont need prior experience of this.
Youll also be involved in integration work required as a result of future acquisitions, working to consolidate group estates and streamline systems.

**What youll need:**
- Experience managing technology engineering teams, ideally within a cloud services environment. - Experience delivering operational processes and systems that support the delivery of cloud platforms. - Ability to lead and motivate a team, provide direction and manage resources - Ability to motivate and influence crossfunctional teams. - Experience of contract negotiations and timing. - Excellent communication skills at all levels including the ability to present technology plans and commercial performance clearly - Ability to managed multiple projects in parallel, often with changing requirements and priorities. - Able to manage stakeholders with changing priorities. - Demonstrable experience providing networks that underpin Cloud Based Solutions - Demonstrable experience in improving and selecting technology to improve OSS capability - Experience of performance improvement across cloud services - Knowledge of AWS and Azure is desirable
**Ideally youll also have:**
- Relevant technology certifications, for example MCSA, MCITP or MCSE. - Experience of developing a DevOps culture - An interest in or experience of developing a DevOps culture. - ILM Management 3 or similar. - TOGAF, ITIL or Prince2 certification - Scripting / automation / development experience
