Investigo is delighted to be partnering with a global property firm based in central London on their search for a newly qualified / finalist level Financial Accountant.
This role is primarily responsible for all project level accounting responsibilities across a number of key development projects. Key responsibilities include the reporting and monitoring of project job costs against budgets, working with internal stakeholders to ensure flow of financial information, applying IFRS and providing the related internal and external reporting requirements.
You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Business partnering with key internal stakeholders regarding real estate development projects
providing key financial insights of key business decisions, actual VS budget reporting and other financial perspectives - Analysis of critical financial data and preparing management reports - Regular reviews of budgets, revenue, invoicing, expenses and addressing discrepencies - Review completeness and accuracy of investment accounting completed by 3rd parties - External business partnering with lenders regarding funding processes and providing financial insights - Preparing valuations, completing bank reconciliations and wire transfers - Assisting with creation of brand new development budgets for upcoming projects - First point of contact for Auditors regarding transactions and all journal entries - Preparing VAT returns
This role offers huge variety and an opportunity to take ownership over a huge portfolio of real estate developments. The successful candidate must demonstrate the following capabilities:
- Experience working within a real estate/property/land development industry - PQ, finalist level or newly qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA - Key attention to detail - Proactive
able to identify potential issues and head them off before they develop - Confident
able to liaise with key stakeholders (internal and external) - Experience of operational business and IFRS knowledge
On offer is a salary of up to £50,000 with a 1015% bonus, study support (if applicable) and other benefits.
