Are you an experienced Financial Controller who has led on multiple yearend processes? Do you want to work for a rapidly growing healthcare charity taking a leading role in critical research? If so, please read on!

Robertson Bell Finance are working with a wellknown healthcare research charity to recruit an Interim YearEnd Accountant. Based in Central London, the role joins their high performing team for a period of 68 months.

Reporting to the FD, the main responsibilities of the role are as follows:

- Lead and manage an experienced team of five through the yearend statutory accounts process. - Ensure balance sheet integrity and tight financial controls across the board but focussing specifically on Purchase Orders. - Review gift aid submissions and carry out compliance checks on current VAT procedures. - Manage the relationship with the auditors, fielding any queries they have and escalating any serious problems to the FD.

The successful candidate must be a qualified accountant (preferably either ACA or ACCA qualified) with extensive experience of producing yearend accounts. Experience of working in the charity sector will be beneficial to your application but is not an essential requirement. Finally, you must have previously managed a team of at least two people.
