Head of Finance

My client is a Government Department that is looking to appoint a strategically minded Head of Finance who can drive forward and further embed a business partnering focused approach across the organisation.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance, the key deliverables for the Head of Finance will be: \*Leading on the strategy for financial planning, management, reporting and control \*Providing expert business partnering support to the senior management team assisting them in making key strategic decisions \*Ensure suitable financial management and control processes are in place and adhered to \*Line manage a small team of Finance Business Partners, to further establish and drive forward a comprehensive business partnering service to all levels of the organisation \*Develop effective relationships with a number of key external stakeholders which include a number of Government departments and arms length bodies

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) who has strong business partnering experience, able to build credibility and influence at all levels. The role will require an individual with a passion for driving forward projects.

The role is offered on an initial 2 year fixed term contract. London: £60,000

£70,000
