Bulgarian Speaking - Accounts Assistant - Accountancy Practice
Location:Leytonstone
Salary:£22,000 to £28,000
Based in, Leytonstone, East London, my client are a growing firm of Chartered Certified Accountants. They specialise in Small business with clients from construction, restaurants, media and advertising, professional services, property and retail industries.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong communications skills. Our ideal candidate will be either (AAT/ ACCA) qualified or finalist and should have experience working in a practice and be highly IT literate with excellent command of Excel and Microsoft office.
Your responsibilities are varied and will include the following:
Preparing self-assessments Preparing final accounts for sole traders and small limited companies Preparing VAT returns Personal and corporation tax knowledge expected Preparing other industry specific returns such as CIS 300 Billing clients for professional services rendered Ensure the fixed asset register is routinely maintained and depreciation is posted. Monitoring bank reconciliations and ensuring postings are timely and correct Client Liaison ensuring all client queries are appropriately responded to and building strong business relationships 2 years' minimum experience within an accountancy practice is essential - either as a Bookkeeper, Junior Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or Semi Senior Accountant Experience with the software Quickbooks, Xero, Clearbooks and 12 pay and excel AAT qualification as a minimum, or ACA / ACCA This vacancy is being managed by Laura Farmer at Spear Recruitment Ltd.
