Job Description
Your new company This company provides financial services to a specific sector, allowing payments to be made quickly and on an international basis. There are 4 offices in the UK and their headquarters, made up of 300 people, are based in India. Your new role You will be the sole accountant in the department maintaining the accounts for all 4 entities in the UK. You will report directly into the head of accounting. You will handle the AP and AR functions, prepare statutory accounts, prepare accounts/VAT returns/pension returns, manage funding and cash flow and support internal audit. What you'll need to succeed You will have a minimum of 5 years accounting experience. You will have a 2:1 degree or above and be studying for a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA). You will have knowledge of IFRS as well as experience with ERP/Oracle. To be successful in this job you will be a self-starter as well as a confident communicator as you will regularly liaise with other offices.
