Your new firm A leading firm of chartered accountants that have offices across the North West seek a trainee accountant for their Blackburn office. The firm have ambitious growth plans for the future and seek a driven individual to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to learn and develop with a dynamic firm. Your new role In this trainee accountant job carrying out bookkeeping duties for clients on a monthly and quarterly basis both onsite and at clients premises using cloud software (Xero and QBO). You will also be preparing accounts for limited companies from a wide range of industries, again this will be both onsite and at clients premises. On top of this you will be forming excellent client relationships, completing VAT returns, preparing corporate tax returns and preparing accounts for sole traders and partnerships. What you'll need to succeed The firm are seeking an individual that has some prior working experience within an accountancy practice. As this is a client facing role you will need to possess strong interpersonal skills and be passionate about providing great client service. To enable you to work to strict deadlines and manage workloads you will need to be organised and good at working under pressure. Any experience with cloud based packages would be seen as an added bonus.
