Your new company This top 10 firm are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated individual to take on the role as Corporate Tax Assistant Manager in their Gatwick office. This firm are the leading global network focused on the mid-market, and would like a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to become part of their team; one of the largest in the region. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work on a challenging and varied client portfolio which would normally be associated with the Big 4 in London. Your new role As Tax Assistant Manager your primary responsibility will be to take control of a portfolio of clients while supervising the tax team. You will be responsible for all day to day tax compliance affairs of clients, and involved with related advisory matters as well as ensuring work in progress is monitored. A key part of the role requires identifying rick and technical matters as well as selling opportunities to the Partner while exercising your own judgement. Additionally, you will be required to review work prepared by junior staff and participate in their training and development. What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have a significant understanding and previous experience of corporate tax compliance; advisory experience would be desirable. Other requirements for this position include an in depth, up to date knowledge of taxation and the ability to manage a small client portfolio. You will need to be ACCA or ATT qualified with corporate tax experience and looking to progress your career in tax within a leading accountancy firm.
