Job Description
Your new company An award-winning hospitality business based in South West London is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Manager. This company is renowned for its' excellent quality and has rightly earned it' reputation as a market leader in the industry. Your new role As the Accounts Payable Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the duties of the Accounts Payable team and ensuring all invoices are being processed within a timely manner. You will lead on the on-going process improvement initiatives and streamlining the Accounts Payable function. You will be the key point of contact to manage and maintain supplier relationships to ensure smooth supply of goods. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger, ensuring all supplier invoices have been entered and reconciled at the end of each month. Additionally, you will be tasked with liaising with internal department heads, on regular basis to address emerging supplier issues. What you'll need to succeed The successful applicant will be an experienced Accounts Payable Manager with previous people management experience. Candidates will ideally be studying towards ACCA, CIMA, AAT or an equivalent accounting qualification. Key skills that will ensure that you will succeed at this role will include being an excellent communicator, hardworking individual, immaculate attention to detail. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential (including pivots and v-lookups) for this position. You will need to be able to work under pressure and being a confident self-starter.
