Job Description
Assistant Management Accountant Permanent £25k-£27k plus study support Widnes Working for one of the UK's leading businesses the Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for the end to end production of management accounts. Priding themselves on their visions and values this organisation are continuously improving their ambitious strategies to ensure their performance as one of the leaders in this multimillion pound turnover organisation. Working within the project specialist accounts team this role is ideal for someone with advanced Excel skills and the ability to become a superuser of the accounts system. Duties and responsibilities: * To assist in the preparation and review of management accounts * Support the team in the preparation and review of annual budgets and forecasts * Ensure all relevant balance sheets are reconciled and highlight any risk opportunities * Month end journals: prepayments, accruals, fixed assets * Supporting on the production of monthly profit and loss reports and analysing results * Work across the organisation to monitor and report non-staff costs * Assist in the preparation of month and year end audits * Any other ad hoc/ project work Skills required: * AAT Qualified and working towards CIMA qualification * Up to date and relevant experience as an Accounts Assistant and working towards management accounting * Ability to use Excel to an advanced level and be competent with pivot tables and vlookups * SAP experience or similar would be desirable * Personality fit: progressive and hungry to complete qualifications to become a successful Management Accountant The Company: * Multimillion £ turnover company who invest time into employees and look to promote within * Recognises hard work and development * Study support provided past probation * Competitive holidays plus bank holidays * Healthcare cash plan * Life assurance * Company pension contribution * Free onsite parking To be considered for the role send an up to date copy of your CV in Word format and click APPLY NOW!
