Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance Team here at our Fletchers Bakery site. Job Purpose Reporting to the Supply Chain Fina nce Manager, the Assistant Management Accountant's role is to understand the underlying businesses' total supply chain performance and prepare management reporting to reflect a true and fair view, which allows finance to support, challenege and advise the operations and supply chain management to make good business decisions. Key Accountabilities * Preparation of exisiting daily, weekly and monthly operations management reporting. * Accounting and analysis of direct and indirect hourly paid labour - a significant area of spend for Flecthers. * Management of all stock reporting to ensure materials usage variances are correct, and weekly/monthly stock rec's are correctly accounted for - another significant area of spend for Fletchers Bakery. * Preparation of new and existing product costings in addition to being the gatekeeper of the bill of materials in the ERP system. * Development of new daily, weekly and monthly operations management reporting in conjuction with IT. * Ensuring quarterly reconcilliation process is completed, balanced and correct, resolving any issues in advance. * Support with the prepartion of operations, logistics and engineering budgets and forecasts. * Ad-hoc support on supply chain scenario's and supporting analysis. Knowledge, Skills and Experience * ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified preferable * FMCG or food manufacturing preferable Personal Attributes * Meticulous and strong attention to detail * Comfortable working with ambiguity * High levels of personal integrity * Good levels of learning agility * Hands-on approach * Effective communicator Please note that this job description is not an exhaustive list of tasks performed and may be required to perform duties of a similar nature from time to time.
