Financial Controller £55,000 - £65,000 per annum Chester
The Opportunity: Finatal are currently working with an exciting private equity-backed digital services business, who are seeking a strong and ambitious first time Financial Controller to support the senior leadership team closely in improving the internal reporting and business
information analysis within the business, alongside significant involvement in the commercial and acquisitive activities. The role will also encompass business partnering with the operational teams, in order to provide timely and accurate data, that can be
coherently translated to the board. There are significant progression opportunities available for the successful candidate. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage all management information for the business, creating management packs for presentation to the directors Supporting a variety of commercial projects, including M&A activities, covering the breadth of the acquisition cycle, from Targeting to Integration Creating and translating financial models for strategic projects to the senior management team Provide further confidence in the numbers for senior stakeholders to support forecasting, budgeting and strategic decision making Regular analysis of the performance of the business, providing commentary on trends and variances for review by management Partnering with senior stakeholders in the business on strategic ventures Working closely with management and being adept and comfortable with tight deadlines About you: Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) Strong reporting and management information skills are essential A keen drive to develop and progress beyond current role Exposure to private equity or similarly agile environment is a must Experience within the services sector is not essential but would be beneficial
