Based on the outskirts of Cambridge, my client is looking for a professional interim to start with them on 6 month as their Financial Controller.
Overlooking a small team you will be joining at a crucial time for the company, therefore, we are looking for an individual who has proven experience within working in an sme environment and strong managerial skills.
Ideal Candidate description:
ACCA or CIMA, Qualified Accountant with +3 years PQE with a background in manufacturing. Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. Payroll experience
Job description and key responsibilities:
Responsible for the development of local budgets Completion of Annual Statutory Accounts and Tax Returns, working with advisors VAT Accounting, working with HMRC and understanding of duty / VAT deferment. Management and development of the finance team, monitoring their progress to company and personal goals. Deliver timely monthly, quarterly and annual close, trial balance and reporting. Provide accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations
