SJC are working with a cash rich business who are looking to further strengthen their Finance team with the addition of an Assistant Management Accountant for their expanding site based in Greater Manchester.
Day to day duties will also require you to provide meaningful financial data to support the wider business. Other duties will include:
-Monthly management accounts preparation -Variance analysis including commentary for the board pack -Maintain fixed asset register -Assist with the production of annual budgets and rolling forecasts -Liaising with other members of staff to ensure that the ledgers are accurate and up to date -Assist in improving financial internal controls -Other ad hoc projects for the Financial Director
To be successful in this position you will be AAT Qualified and studying towards your ACCA or CIMA Qualifications and be a strong team player eager to make your mark on a commercial business.
As this is a key role within the organisation previous experience of working in a similar accounts related role is vital in order for you to hit the ground running.
