Internal Auditor

REED Accountancy and Finance are pleased to be recruiting for an Interim Internal Audit role, fora large successful client in Liverpool City Centre. The duties include: Assist with directing, planning and monitoring programs to ensure that policies are being adhered to surroundingfinancial reporting Manage effective internal controls over financial reporting and address deficiencies with the teams Assist management to ensure that the design and implementation of internal controls are compliant Perform annual risk assessment for accounting processes Improve and refine the effectiveness of the company's internal control framework Review and analyse the issues and deficiencies reported by management, internal audit or external auditors Perform quality reviews on performance and documentation of controls implemented Collaborate with all stakeholders e.g external auditors, internal audit, finance, supply chain, hr, payroll and IT. The ideal candidate should have: Experience of SOX Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance and risk assessments Knowledge of the oil and gas industry ACCA qualification This is an excellent opportunity to join a large finance team on an interim basis.
